چکیده

The common mode voltage (CMV) causes many issues and negatively affects the performance of power system in a hybrid electric vehicle HEV. Therefore, this paper suggests simple method for mitigating CMV two level three phase source inverter VSI with RL load. Hence, technique chosen purpose is based on model predictive control. Otherwise, when compared to standard method, can successfully mitigate while also improving harmonic by lowering total distortion THD. reducing THD simultaneously utilizing only non-zero vectors. According simulation results obtained MATLAB-Simulink, solution reduced ±

Space Vector Modulation Techniques for Common mode Voltage Elimination in the Three- level Voltage Source Inverter

AbstractThe low common mode voltage vector modulation technique for the three-level cascaded voltage source inverter is presented in the paper. The large number of available states for multilevel inverters can make implementation vector control strategies complicated. The main characteristic of the proposed modulation technique is its simplicity of implementation due to the fact that any availa...

Analysis of Model Predictive Current Control for Voltage Source Inverter

Abstract: Model predictive control has become a promising control technology in power converter, because of the good dynamic response and accurate current tracking capability. This study mainly analyzes and verifies the Model Predictive Current control (MPC) of a three-phase voltage sources converter. The MPC controller predicts the behavior of the converter for each possible voltage vector on ...

Near State Vector Selection-Based Model Predictive Control with Common Mode Voltage Mitigation for a Three-Phase Four-Leg Inverter

A high computational burden is required in conventional model predictive control, as all of the voltage vectors of a power inverter are used to predict the future behavior of the system. Apart from that, the common mode voltage (CMV) of a three-phase four-leg inverter utilizes up to half of the DC-link voltage due to the use of all of the available voltage vectors. Thus, this paper proposes a n...

Hysteresis Current Control in Three-Phase Voltage Source Inverter

The current control methods play an important role in power electronic circuits, particulary in current regulated PWM inverters which are widely applied in ac motor drives and continuous ac power supplies where the objective is to produce a sinusoidal ac output. The main task of the control systems in current regulated inverters is to force the current vector in the three phase load according t...

Application of Sliding-Mode Control to Drive Systems Fed by a Three-Level Voltage-Source Inverter

The paper explains basic ideas related to the design of a sliding-mode controller for an electromechanic drive system consisting of an induction motor and a three-level voltage-source inverter. A comprehensive investigation of possible “switched structures” of the drive was carried out. Based on this analysis an original two-step design procedure allows to use the “classical” result of sliding-...
